Dear Boggle, I made my appointment today. I'm going to get help. I was nervous, but I remembered what you said, and you were right - I could pick up the phone, and I could dial a number, and I know my name and information and availability, and before I knew it I had the thing scheduled. When it's time, I know I can get in the car, and I know I can drive, and I know I can walk in the door. Thank you.
I am so, so proud of you! This is such a big step, and I think the most important thing is that you are proving to YOURSELF that you WANT to get better, and you are GOING to get better, no matter how much your anxiety bullies you. This is what recovery feels like! It is hard, and sometimes it is scary or intimidating, but bit by bit you take your life back! Best of luck with your first appointment!
